The MBA Physical Class Journey

Rivermore Academy's MBA students embarked on a one-day physical course at the Universiti Teknologi Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Campus (UTM KL) on September 9, 2023, concluding successfully at 5 PM.

On the morning of September 9, students from diverse backgrounds briefly introduced themselves during an ice-breaking session, leaving a lasting impression on each other. Simultaneously, Rivermore Academy's staff and mentors actively fostered the atmosphere of the physical class, helping students quickly become acquainted and igniting their enthusiasm for the course.

In the classroom, Dr. Zakaria, the mentor, provided a detailed explanation to the students about the structure, writing style, and proposed topics for the Project Paper, enabling the students to grasp the basic Project Paper framework step by step. In the latter half, mentor Ros took over and explained the key points regarding the format of reference materials required for the Project Paper. It's inspiring to note that the students displayed a highly positive learning attitude, attentively listening in class and actively engaging with the mentors.

Gathering at 'Rivermore'

For Rivermore Academy, which specializes in providing online courses and instruction, this physical class was indeed rare and precious. This class isn't just about listening to lectures; there is also plenty of time for breaks and networking, ranging from short 15-minute breaks to longer ones lasting an hour and a half.

Apart from the various knowledge learned in the MBA program, what's most important is building an extensive network of contacts. These break times provide Riverians with the best opportunity to get to know each other and establish business relationships.

As the saying goes, 'Talk about friendship and business at the dinner table,' so Rivermore Academy set up several 'roundtables' and provided sumptuous food in another area, allowing Riverians to sit down, chat, and build relationships with each other.

Summary and Group Photo

The Let’s Meet Up event, namely the one-day MBA physical class, not only provided students with the opportunity to experience university classes in person but also allowed them to meet classmates who they had previously only studied with online. It also enhanced communication and friendship between Rivermore Academy and Riverians.

Rivermore Academy will continue to strive to provide high-quality continuing education courses for more working professionals in need but lacking channels. It aims to add fuel to the dreams still burning brightly in the hearts of many.
