A Warm Welcome to the First Webinar

The theme of this co-hosted webinar was "Singapore PR Application Unveiled: How to Become a Singapore Permanent Resident in 2024," and the registration opened in October.

As of 5:00 PM on November 8, the webinar had already received registrations from 120 people, with over 80% of them participating in the webinar that day, showing a warm response. Not only that, the audience actively engaged in discussions and questions during the webinar, extending the originally planned end time from 9:00 PM to 9:30 PM.

TIP Speaker Provides Valuable Insights, Participants Leave Enriched

In this online seminar, the keynote speaker Kay Cheong is an experienced professional in the field of Singapore immigration. Her detailed explanations are not devoid of humour and make her the best person to set the tone for the entire event.

Kay presented data on successful PR applications and the factors that contribute to a successful PR application, accompanied by fascinating case studies and personal experiences, enlightening the audience on the correct understanding of the importance of the highest education level and salary factors. Kay also specifically chose an audience member, using his education and salary information as an example to demonstrate how the Singapore government's SOT official website assesses whether he is more likely to receive a PR, EP, or S Pass.

The most exciting revelation for the audience was when Kay set the minimum salary for an EP to be $3,500 Singapore dollars when the highest education level is a Master's Degree, which is significantly lower than the previous requirement of $7,000 Singapore dollars for those with a Diploma as the highest education level.

Conclusion

The first webinar co-hosted by Rivermore Academy and TIP was a tremendous success. It not only provided rich information for Rivermore Academy's students and other attendees but also strengthened the friendship between Rivermore Academy and TIP.

With a commitment to serving the best interests of their students, Rivermore Academy will continue to work diligently to bring more events and content to those in need and look forward to their second collaboration with TIP.
