Rivermore Updates | Congratulations to UTM for Reaching New Heights in QS World University Rankings!

Great news! Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) has achieved a new milestone in the 2025 QS World University Rankings, climbing from #188 to #181!


Now in its 20th edition, the QS World University Rankings evaluate universities based on nine key indicators: Academic Reputation, Citations per Faculty, Employer Reputation, Faculty Student Ratio, International Faculty, International Students, International Research Network, Sustainability, and Employment Outcomes.

 

In this ranking, UTM continues to be among the top 200 prestigious universities globally, ranking within the top 12% among 1,500 ranked universities. This significant achievement underscores UTM's consistent efforts in delivering high-quality education and impactful research, aligned with its "UTM 2025 Vision" strategic plan.

 

“As UTM celebrates its improved position in the QS World University Rankings 2025, we remain steadfast in our commitment and responsibility to advancing knowledge, nurturing talents, and addressing societal challenges through innovative solutions.
