Recently, the Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC) once again organized the "Let's Learn Digital (LLD)" program. This program, which first started in early 2020, covers various fields such as data science, cybersecurity, game development, digital global business services, financial technology, and digital marketing. Its aim is to nurture and enhance Malaysia's workforce in digital technology.
According to the CEO of MDEC, "A vibrant digital ecosystem requires equally efficient digital talents and machinery for coordinated development. Due to the digital skills gap among Malaysians, many local digital job positions remain vacant or are filled by foreign workers. Therefore, through projects like LLD, we continue to strengthen collaboration with industry partners to provide the skills, expertise, and insights needed in the current market."
Now in its fourth iteration in 2023, the LLD program has seen different partners offering free courses in previous editions, leaving Malaysian participants thrilled with the opportunities they gained.
The 2023 LLD program is collaborating with institutions such as Meta, SAS, Microsoft, Ericsson, and others, providing a range of free courses. The registration period starts from February 5th and ends on September 30th, with training sessions continuing until December 31st. Whether you are a student or a working professional, as long as you are a Malaysian resident, you are eligible to sign up and benefit greatly from this training program.
