Starting in 2024, the government will gradually implement electronic invoices (E-invoice). Employers/executives, if you haven't figured out E-invoices yet, it might be a bit of a headache for you!
To ensure everyone understands E-invoice, Ng Kim Heng, the founder of NKH Group, personally gave a lecture, teaching everyone what E-invoice really is in just two hours!
Exceeded Expected Number of Registrations Upon Opening
The Malaysian government has long decided to enter the digital age, and E-invoice is one of the steps, leaving everyone puzzled—what exactly is E-invoice?
Since the students of Rivermore Academy are all working professionals, and understanding that everyone wants to know more about E-invoice, Rivermore Academy has specially invited Ng Kim Heng, the founder of NKH Group, to give a lecture. The webinar "Will E-invoice Let Companies Escape Taxes? How to Stay Safe from Taxes Before E-invoice Arrives?" opened for registration on March 6th, and within less than an hour, there were already more than 20 registrants.
As of 5 p.m. on March 12th, the number of registrants for this seminar has reached 164, the highest number of registrations for a webinar hosted by Rivermore Academy to date. Not only that, but half of the registrants are from Rivermore Academy students, while the other half are from outside individuals, proving the public's curiosity and thirst for knowledge about E-invoice.
With E-invoice, Even Your Chicken Rice Habits are Known to the Government
"Is it scary? Yes, it's scary. But the Malaysian government is determined to implement E-invoice and will not turn back."
Ng Kim Heng dropped a bombshell right from the start.
Just as the poster says, as long as you are a seller, even if you are only selling fried bananas or chicken rice, you must issue an E-invoice. Conversely, as long as you buy fried bananas or chicken rice, you will definitely receive an E-invoice, which will then be entered into the government's database.
The government wants to have access to all information, so they have also provided various information and updates about E-invoice. From Ng Kim Heng's presentation, the public participating in this webinar can also learn the latest news from the government and prepare early for their own businesses.
Conclusion
This online seminar reflected a warm reception, with dozens of people eager to know when the second session on E-invoice will be held even before the current webinar ended, and they will definitely attend. Ng Kim Heng expressed his gratitude for this, but since this webinar is also his first after receiving firsthand information, he is not sure when the second session will be held.
In any case, this webinar ended successfully amidst a warm atmosphere. Rivermore Academy will continue to work hard to bring more activities and content, providing students with the latest news and knowledge in the workplace.
