Postgraduate Diploma
Simply put, a Postgraduate Diploma is a qualification higher than a Bachelor's Degree and is nearly equivalent to a Master's Degree in the UK, requiring 120 credits. In the higher education framework of EU countries, the Postgraduate Diploma is classified at Level 7. Therefore, when we see the term "Postgraduate Diploma," we often see the phrase "Level 7" alongside it.
Level 7 Qualification
There are nine levels in the UK, starting from the most basic "Entry Level", then progressing from Level 1 to Level 8. The highest level, Level 8, naturally corresponds to a Doctorate degree.
A Level 7 Qualification is the second highest level of education in the UK, equivalent to a Master's Degree. In the UK, there are many diplomas that can be designated as "Level 7" , including the Postgraduate Diploma.
